Creative Brief

Create a utility app where users can share their experience of visiting a national park, state park, or natural forest in the U.S. by leaving reviews for others to see and gain insight about a park before visiting, along with a one page website which will introduce some features of the app.

Creative Concept

glacier-hiking-trail

Lots came to fruition after I was watching a couple of vlogs where these group of friends traveled across California (north to south) in a minivan, taking pit stops at interesting parks along the way.

I imagine people usually find these locations through social media and geotags, but what if there was a central app for the nomad trailwalker or camper who wants to save locations, points of interest, or other info and share it with others. Or someone new who wants to go out of their comfort zone but make an informed decision before taking a trip to a park. This is where Lots comes in.

For the one page website, it was something I always wanted to make but never had the chance to. So creating one for the Lots app gave me the perfect opportunity, along with illustrating user interaction to support the snippets of content needed to showcase the app.
